We go in double kayaks to Hiorthamn. Together in a small group we paddle across the Advent bay. The route is over shallow sandbanks close to the Advent Valley delta. Quiet we glide along, close to different sea birds, over cold waters in safe and warm dry suits. In kayaks you get close to the elements, birds and seals without poluting or disturbing the surroundings. We make a landing on the beach in front of the majestic Hiorthamn mountain. We go for a walk to the old wooden houses from the mining period just after 1900.

Up in the hillside we find a nice spot and get something warm to eat and drink.

The kayaks are easy to balance, but still gliding nicely through the water without to much effort. The trip suits everyone with normal health also for you that are going to experience kayaking for the first time.
